Named after my aunt's dog, this sweater is entirely hand knit from 100% Merino Wool. This sweater features a turtleneck style collar, dropped shoulders, bubble sleeves, and hand-embroidered flowers. Meant to fit oversized or true to size, this piece is sized at a XL-2XL.

Each knit I make takes anywhere from 100-125 hours to make, this one took 115 hours. Unfortunately, due to the high cost of the chunky wool I use, this adds a lot to the price point (material cost alone ranging from $145-$200). My intention behind these pieces is to make an heirloom type of sweater that can be worn for years then passed down to other generations.

Flat-Lay Measurements:

Pit-to-Pit: 31"

Length: 19.5"

Sleeve Length (from dropped shoulder): 18"

Garment Material Content:

100% Chunky Wool from Wool & the Gang

Care Instructions:

Before washing, keep your wool garments in a separate basket to make sure they don’t get mixed with other loads of laundry.

Due to the delicate nature of wool yarn, I suggest hand-washing your wool pieces in cold water with a gentle, natural (ideally scentless) soap.

Submerge your garment in the water, rub any deep stains, and remove quickly. Then, roll the sweater in a clean towel to absorb excess water before reshaping and laying flat to dry (ideally on an airy surface).

I do not advise dry cleaning as the chemicals can damage and weaken wool.

I also recommend spot cleaning and hanging the garment outside in the fresh air to clean it when possible to extend the life of your garment or accessory even further.

Due to the nature of this wool yarn, pilling is inevitable. I highly recommend using a non-electric sweater shaver to remove excess pilling. My favorite sweater shaver is refillable Fuzz Off Comb from Coco Knits.

Storing Your Knits:

When you are not wearing your garment, gently fold the sweater to store it. Due to the heavy weight of the knits, do not hang them, this will cause the body and sleeve length to stretch
