How do I get in contact with the collective if I have questions?

You can send any and all questions to our email info@charmedcrowcollective.com or through our contact form and we will reply within 48 hours.

What is a third space?

In addition to its maker-operated retail space, Charmed Crow strives to become a third space where makers can connect and share knowledge through artist-run workshops and skillshare classes, artist mixers, and a variety of social events intended to bring the Portland maker community together.

What does worker owned and operated mean?

Worker-owned and operated means that each of the collective members own the business together, divide the labor, decision making, and profits equally. As a collective we can pick up slack when others need a break, collaborate our strengths to accomplish big goals, and succeed together. We will be the people running the business 100% and will not rely on a staff of employees.

What makes The Charmed Crow Collective different from other stores offering artist consignment?

Many stores offering consignment are operated by single owners who are not makers or artists. It is easy to undervalue the work of artists when not experienced with the process of creating. As an artist owned and operated collective we have the perspective necessary to ensure our consignment agreements are fair and beneficial to the makers.

I'm a vendor, how can I apply for the consignment program?

Thank you so much for your interest in consigning with us! We are not currently taking consigners at this time.

We need some time to get the hang of our operations this fall, and make sure we thoroughly research and plan out a successful program. Our focus is to create something we would participate in ourselves if we weren't part of the collective, which means lots of testing before we launch. We anticipate opening up for consignment applications in early 2026!

We encourage fellow artists to get involved by signing up for our newsletter, attending our workshops and events, or just stopping by the store to introduce yourself!

In the meantime, we are sourcing for the holiday season and are looking for wholesalers! If wholesaling is something you're interested in, fill out our contact form and we'll get in touch.

What types of products will be eligible for the consignment program?

We are interested in high-quality handmade goods, zines, art, and upcycled pieces. Our consignment program will be only open to makers and artists, and will not include vintage or thrift consigners. Once our program opens and you aren't sure about whether or not your goods are the right fit, still apply!

We may not be able to take people's goods on the first try, but we always encourage you to apply. We plan to offer feedback and assistance to get you ready to sell in a retail space, so if you don't qualify the first time, you can always apply again!

What types of products do you carry?

The Charmed Crow Collective retail space will offer handmade goods from members as well as other PDX artists; this shop will highlight a range of products that showcase intentionality, artistry, and sustainability.

Will everything that's available in store be online?

We plan on offering our co-owner goods and wholesale goods online. Unfortunately, we won't be able to offer everything (like furniture and secondhand clothes) we have in store on the website, but we still plan on having a robust e-commerce shop for our out-of-state customers to enjoy!
