The Buttercup Crewneck w/ Vintage Heart Fabric Patches

Named after the dog, Buttercup, available for adoption through the Golden Valley Humane Society, this upcycled crewneck sweatshirt is made from a heathered gray Tultex crewneck and patches made from vintage fabrics. The heart is made from vintage pink fabric and the background is made from vintage hearts & bows fabric.
The patches are machine-sewn down on the shirt using white & black cotton thread and a decorative, yet sturdy stitch.
Due to the reclaimed nature of the materials, stains and minor cosmetic flaws are to be expected. However, we do our best to reference all the flaws in the photos. This piece is discounted due to the yellow staining that is shown on the arms and body in the photos.

Sustainability Statement
Each piece is made as sustainably as possible with the intention to not add more fabric to the landfill and an attempt to be as close to zero-waste as possible. I source all of the clothing from thrift stores and all of the quilted pieces, quilts, and remnants are second-hand. I also try to source as much of my sewing thread and embroidery thread second-hand as much as possible, while reusing packaging materials as well.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Due to the vintage and delicate nature of the upcycled materials and quilt patches, these pieces are hand-wash and line or rack dry only. I also recommend spot cleaning when possible to extend the life of your garment or accessory
TWO HOWLING LABS GUARANTEE:
If the embroidery thread* comes undone, each piece comes with a lifetime guarantee and I will repair the stitching free of cost. For handmade items, I will repair any rips or tears that occur due to improper stitching or manufacturing.
*Please note: the guarantee only applies to the added work on the garment, not the thrifted item itself. I also cannot repair items that haven't been up-kept with the above care instructions. If you have a larger repair (ie: a hole develops somewhere on the thrifted clothing item), I can repair these for a small fee and the cost of shipping.
